Scentco specializes in toy, stationery, and educational products that bring back childhood memories and trigger happy emotions through some of their scented products.

The project goal was to design a line of cute plush bugs that are scented but also filled the packaging proportionately. There were 6 different bugs included in this plush line and I designed 2 of them.

As part of my design process, I began with rough sketches after researching existing bug plush in the market. Then I digitized my sketches, added measurements, Pantone swatches and properly set up the file to be sent to the overseas manufacturer. The most enjoyable part was seeing the first production sample and the most challenging part was taking my 2-D art and translating it into a 3-D graphic that would make sense to the manufacturer. While collaborating with 2 other graphic designer, I gave my feedback on the initial concepts of design for both the packaging and logo design and together we decided on a final solution that would suit all 6 bugs.
